“Live Feed.” was a large-scale MFA thesis exhibition of Electronic Integrated Arts at the Robert C. Turner Gallery at Alfred University in Alfred, New York on April 25, 2015. Presented by Dan Anderson.
Including: (43) video monitors, (13) projections, (25) computers, (5) neon sculptures, (60) digital and woodblock print images, (3) live UHF broadcasts, a live Internet feed and a live performance during the opening. The event occurred on both levels of the Robert C. Turner gallery, covering over 4,000 square feet of floor space.
The majority of the installations are video loops and short films, each lasting in duration from 45 seconds to over 9 minutes. Interactive installations also filled the space, which required the participation of a viewer to active.
Content for the videos, installations and prints was primarily taken from documentary footage shot by myself at various public events. Some installations also used materials appropriated by public access or network television broadcasts.
